| Eddie Torres has been performing magic since he was 14 years old. In his time as a magician he has had the privilege of performing for hundreds of families, groups, companies and organizations. In order to further his skills as a magician, Eddie has earned degrees in theatre and psychology from the City Universty of New York. He began performing as a full-time professional in 2007 and hasn't looked back since. He is a born and raised New Yorker which is very evident in his performing style. As an actor Eddie has performed in several theatrical productions. He is a member of the childrens Theatre company at Lehman and Bronx repertory company where he has gotten the opportunity to perform and tour throught New York City. Eddie is also a puppeteer, he has written and performed in several original full length puppet plays, all of which he built and manipulated the puppets for. Currently, Eddie is a full time professional magician in NYC and the tri-state area. His style is most commonly known as off-beat comedy magic. His primary goal when performing is not to amaze or astonish but to "vigorously entertain". He doesn't consider himself a magician, actor, comedian or puppeteer, but an entertainer. |
